My kids and I moved from Colorado to Pennsylvania just over a year ago. Before that, we lived in New Mexico for many years. To some extent, we feel as though we are experiencing culture shock.
I teach English Language Arts for grades 5 - 12 in a small private school; several evenings a week I teach GED prep classes at a juvenile detention facility.
Fun Facts:1. I enjoy outdoor activities and traveling.2. I was born in England and graduated high school in Turkey.3. I enjoy running and completed a 5k about three years ago.4. I am at the half way point for a Master's degree in Education - hurray!
I would like to be able to competently utilize current technology to better educate my students.I enjoy card and board games. My favorite game is probably Phase Ten.
